KUNDALINI AND THE MAGIC FIRE HORSE OF ENLIGHTENMENT

KUNDALINI AND THE MAGIC FIRE HORSE OF ENLIGHTENMENT

How to Ride the Magic Fire Horse of Enlightenment.

I was speaking to a Japanese friend this week.

She asked me had I experienced “satori”.

Yes I said.

Twice.

She looked at me in astonishment.

Japanese people are only used to famous Masters achieving enlightenment.

When I explained to her that I had studied under the Dalai Lama for 30 years and Yogananda even longer she nodded as if I had answered her question and used a phrase “kugiri wa nai” which means no boundaries.

That is what I experienced.

A self with no boundaries.

The True Self.

This incidentally is also the name I was given in Sanskrit by a Himalayan Master Swami Shyam.

He called me Nirbandha Shyam which means the Unbound Space of Divine Mother’s Love.

It is fundamental to my practice and basically who I AM.

Like Altair.

A Pillar of Light.

Light comes with Presence.

Stillness.

The practice of Space.

The experience of emptiness.

The I AM Divine Consciousness in us all.

We all have enlightening experiences where we see into our own true nature.

And when we do, we then explore deeper, maturing the experience of the Light, so that we experience the Light again and again in continuous dedicated practice.

Then we can touch others with the full experience of Light and Love and liberate them into an experience of their own true nature.

I said to my Japanese friend that my first spontaneous experience of satori was like being hit by lightning.

“A thunderclap under the clear blue sky

All beings on earth open their eyes;
Everything under heaven bows together;
Mount Sumeru leaps up and dances.” (Chinese Zen Master Wumen)

There was no more Stephen and no boundaries.

No time and no words to describe what happened after meditation as there was no more meditator for 48 hours.

That seemed to satisfy her.

“Lord you told me to meditate on the innate essence

And meditate is what I did.

It so happened that both meditation and meditator simply vanished,

And no post-meditation was there to maintain” (Tibetan Kagyu Master Lingchen Repa)

Riding the Magic Horse is like that.

An experience of no boundaries in the physical.

Zen Master Huang Po said

“If you can only let go of all conceptual thought, in a flash, you will have accomplished everything.

There is no distinction between the Buddha and you, and yet you are attached to forms and so seek the Buddha.

By this very seeking you will lose it, for that is using the Buddha to seek for the Buddha and using the mind to grasp the Mind.

When you put a stop to conceptual thought, and forget this anxiety, the Buddha will appear before you, for this Mind and Heart is the Buddha and the Buddha is in all living beings.”

Riding the Magic Horse is riding the Heart of the Buddha and the Christ, Home.

Riding the Magic Horse is a simple and most remarkable exercise studied by the 2nd Dalai Lama, Milarepa, Elijah and Yeshua and takes the consciousness on a magnificent journey when embraced by the Heart with devotion and practiced thoroughly with a still Mind.

It also allows you to understand how many superhuman feats are accomplished by Tibetan monks and nuns such as supernatural running at high speed for sustained periods of time.

Supernatural feats in the physical are part of the natural evolution of Tantra and Alchemy and a side effect of the enlightening process.

They are called Siddhis or spiritual or magical powers in many ancient traditions.

They cannot be forced.

They manifest when we surrender.

My own experience of levitation, for example, happened once spontaneously when my body was completely empty, that my wife was witness to.

My body was perfectly at rest and suddenly I found myself in mid air, not that high, several inches above the ground, without moving a single muscle.

It was as if I had lifted myself from the ground, yet there was no “me” to accomplish that feat any longer.

The great yogi Milarepa described having “crossed in a few days, a distance which, before his training, had taken him more than a month.”

He ascribes his gift to the clever control of ‘internal air’.”

“At the house of the lama who taught him there lived a trapa [monk] who was fleeter than a horse” using the same skill.

After witnessing such a monk it was said by witnesses…

“He seemed to lift himself from the ground.. His steps had the regularity of a pendulum … the traveller seemed to be in a trance.”

This esoteric skill, which is known as Lung-gom-pa in Tibet, is said to allow a practitioner to run at an extraordinary speed for days without stopping. This technique could be compared to that practised by the Kaihogyo monks of Mount Hiei and by practitioners of Shugendo in Japan.

When I lived in India, Nepal and Tibet, I saw such supernatural feats, just as now living in Japan I have seen such skills from Shugendo practitioners.

PRACTICE

Here is the exercise.

Using the flame of the inner light through the breath (airs) as a magic horse.

Sit with your hands on your thighs in a relaxed way and breathe.

Breathe in and out until you are in harmony with your breath and you are very present.

You can do this very slowly and calmly as you read this.

Your heart fills you with divine presence.

“Breathing in I am filled with light and love, breathing out I am blessed with light and love.”

Slowly let it all go.

Allow your light and love to bless the room you are in, then the house, then the neighborhood, then the area, the country, the world, all worlds.

Your body and breath become calm and still.

Peaceful.

Empty.

Meditate on your body as being empty.

Like an empty cup, a grail, a chalice.

Below your navel is a tiny disc of light, radiating like the sun and sitting upon it is Amitabha/Krishna/Christ/Mary Magdalene/Guan Yin or your own connection or a light or flame about a finger height in size and the color of a burning hot flame or iron.

From there the central channel (the sushumna) flows upward to the crown.

It is open at the top like an open window and in the sky above you can see countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, Christs and Angels.

From their hearts amrita (wisdom light) flows forth like nectar.

The nectar resembles molten gold and enters your body via the Brahma or crown opening.

The nectar rains down upon Amitabha/Krishna/Christ/Mary Magdalene/Guan Yin causing Him or Her to release a blast of flame like a brilliant light that fills your body.

Perform the sacred breath exercise again,

“Breathing in I am filled with light and love, breathing out I am blessed with light and love.”

and this time add the vase (empty chalice) exercise

The empty chalice or vase exercise is a way of fanning the purification flame within you.

When you breathe in, breathe in gently through the nostrils.

The air is directed to the navel, and womb area, as if you are pregnant with divine life.

As you visualize the air like molten gold filling the chalice of your ‘womb’ visualize the light syllable AH in the form of light language about the size of a mustard seed entering with the airs at the navel and lighting up the inner womb realm within you.

(Again the Light Syllable can also be your own guided symbol or syllable)

Then draw in the air through the lower chakra areas and “cup” the lower airs at the navel with the upper airs.

This is known as vase or chalice breathing.

Visualize the airs like molten gold entering the central channel while slowly exhaling through the nostrils.

Then whenever you walk or go anywhere visualize your two arms as wings.

Under your armpits and on the soles of your feet visualize light green wind goddesses (dakinis)

Whenever you move, visualize that they carry you through the sky.

Perform the sacred breath or chalice breath (vase breathing) 21 times.

Gently.

Kindly.

This will help you to travel inter-dimensionally and in the physical quickly as though carried by a magic horse, just like Elijah.

“As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind” (Kings 2:11)

To receive these powerful initiations visualize white Vajradhara and Consort (or Yeshua and Mary) upon your head.

(In my own case the Archangel Metatron and the Bodhisattva Guan Yin arose in me to initiate me, Metatron at my crown and Guan Yin in my “womb” area)

Request them to give you the initiations.

From the point of their Sacred Union flows forth Bodhi-Mind-Heart nectar, the Sacred Amrita or Nectar of Immortality.

(I have witnessed Sacred Amrita pour in endless quantities from a statue of Ganesha that was a gift from Sai Baba some years ago)

This Sacred Nectar enters your body via the crown and descends.

Contemplate and be with the flame of the Inner Light that is the true inner Master and ride the magic fire horse to enlightenment and beyond.

Love and soul blessings

NOTES

NOTE 1 : Many people ask me about the Six point Fire posture

To keep it simple it means

1) Legs crossed (or wherever is most relaxing for you)

2) Back straight

3)Neck slightly inclined forward

4) Tongue against the palate (or relaxed)

5) Eyes toward the tip of the nose (or uplifted toward the third eye)

6) Hands in mudra gesture (such as thumb and forefinger joined together)

Then you envision yourself as yogini (with consort)

And concentrate on the three energy channels

And four pressure points in the centre of the chakras at the Navel, Heart, Throat, Third Eye/Crown with their corresponding Light Syllables.

You can use the Tibetan Bodhisattva symbols, or Archangel symbols, or Elder symbols or symbols of your own path or guidance.

Trust your Heart.

NOTE 2 : There are various yantra you can visualize in the womb realm within you such as the yantra of motion or dharmodaya, the triangular yantra which is the Source (udaya) of All (dharma).

NOTE 3 : In your gratitude offer the mandala symbolizing the Universe, the Sacred or Cosmic Egg, also known as the Womb Realm or Hiranyagarbha to all those that give you initiations.
