SANGHA AND SATSANGA – THE OCEAN IN OUR COMMUNITY

Dear All

Shambhala is a sacred community, a sangha, a satsanga.

Satsanga means ‘sitting and listening in the Truth’ and Sangha means ‘community of Buddhas’.

I have been listening to the hearts of many seeking deeper truth when it comes to sharing.

Sharing does not just involve posts and comments but in fact the deeper truth is the intention with which we share.

Communication brings communion which brings love. So every act of sharing in this community is an act of Love.

I have been so touched by the messages you have sent my mother and your mother and Our Mother.

If every act of sharing was with this intention what a miraculous world we would have.

In discussions and sharing I want you to make the intention always to act with that same deepest compassion and love for each other. Everything shared is only to bring wisdom.

This means finding these simple qualities in your hearts before you answer or post or share. It really is that simple.

Let us all begin again from this point.

Consider also the following.
How would you communicate with your guru, enlightened teacher, soul guardian? With your God-Self?
With criticism? Or with compassion and love? A deep devotion to wisdom, right?
When we find fault with others we create obstacles for everyone around.
For the one doing the criticism.
For the one who is blamed.
For those listening to the criticism.

Satsanga or Sangha is divine or spiritual community. What is said with compassion and love or devotion to wisdom to another is fruitful for everybody. Only when we are free of criticism and blame can we truly say we have entered satsanga. This is a hard practice requiring moment by moment awareness. We have to be alert and awake. Not reacting from old habit patterns. We are all at a crucial point where we can truly let go of the past and come to deep and loving communication with each other and our collective wisdom. It takes effort. Perseverance. And Love.

Sometimes we have to let go and begin anew.

We are being encouraged to love in every moment and sometimes to surrender and trust.

In every lesson we have presented ourselves with there is a great deal of wisdom. Disagreements carry just as much wisdom as agreements IF WE LISTEN, BE STILL AND SEE THAT IT IS OUR GOD-SELF’S LESSON TO OURSELVES. That is the secret really, can we make our sharing in this community our spiritual practice? Can we create a clear space of living presence that will allow all things and all people to be as they are? Expressing our thoughts and feelings is fine, so long as we own them and do not project or allow unacknowledged emotions to grow and become blame.
Wisdom is learning to express without blame.
Wisdom is learning to listen.
Wisdom is giving each other space to express and BE himself or herself. Accusing, defending and attacking are then unnecessary and extinguished. We allow each other’s dance and each other’s song to blossom. Giving space to yourself and others is vital. Love cannot blossom without it.

So let us give each other space to blossom.

Then we see the flowering of the Great Bliss that is Shambhala.

So that also leads me to finish with something I shared before…that there are differences indeed on our paths but there are no differences in our goal.

You are all petals on the same lotus, waves in the same ocean.

IDENTITY AND FORM – DIVING BENEATH THE WAVES OF THE OCEAN

Who is known as a Krishna devotee? One who sees Krishna everywhere.
Who is known as a devotee of Shakti? One who beholds the Divine Mother everywhere and nothing but Her.
All the paths we follow spring from the One Source, the One Ocean.
All equal in essence.
You are Mother.
You are Father.
You are Divine Friend.
You are Master.
You are All in All.
Every name is your Name.
Every form is your Form.
Still yet He is where no forms exist, the Great UnManifest, Pure Being, I AM Presence.
Whatever path you choose, whatever name, whatever deity, pursue it through in a single direction, but when you ‘arrive’ then all differences cease, all pursuit surrenders, all forms extinguish. There are differences indeed on our paths but how can there be differences in our goal.

Love and soul blessings always
